Christmas Day!!

This year for Christmas we decided to do things a little different.
We did Christmas for another family
and we helped at the food pantry.
We don't do Santa and all those stories but
we do focus on The Birth of our Savior.
This year we got to open a package to find out the baby's gender.
It was so fun to open the present on Christmas morning!
We're having another little girl - due in May.

 Grammy and Wendy came by.
The kids slept by their tree on Christmas Eve.
We hope everyone had a Great Christmas this year.

Christmas Eve

Every year our kids act out the nativity scene.
Here's some pictures of this years re-enactment.

One of my favorite Christmas traditions.

Smith Babies are coming!

We surprised all of Shem's family by showing up
to the family Christmas party pregnant.
They had no idea and I'm half way along.
It was fun to see everyone and
take a picture with the other pregnant gals.
The Smith side has babies coming in March, April, and May.
Wahoo for new little babies!

1 Finished Project - tons more to do.

I'm happy to say that I did most of this project by myself.
My Dad cut the wood and Shem put marks on the wall for me.
I glued, nailed, sanded, and painted.
I couldn't have done it without them though.
The pegs will be used for back packs
but for Christmas they were used for the stockings.

Overall it was a pretty easy and inexpensive project.

Mitch and Lindsay

My brother just got sealed in the Temple to his wife and kids.
There love story is different than most but that's ok.
Every love story is unique!

Congrats - we wish you the best!

First Snow of the season

The weather has been pretty good to me so far.
I don't enjoy the cold winters - snow=cold.
We did get our first snow and the kids were so EXCITED!
There was just enough to play in for a few hours.

Of course the picture of what my living room looks
like after they play in the snow.

Moments that melt my Heart!

A few Sundays ago my sweet girls heart attacked our bedroom door.
I left the notes up for a long time because they were so cute.
It truly is these little moments that make life so great!

Thanks girls - you guys are the best!

HaPpY HalloWeEn!!

Here we are - the Potato Head Family.
Costumes were fast and easy this year.
The kids had a great time designing their own faces.
Everyone loved them and tons of people commented on them.

American West Heritage Center

We took the kids to a fun event during UEA.
They got to shoot a gun for the first time, ride on ponies,
go on a train ride, walk through a corn maze, ride down a big slide,
throw an ax, do an obstacle course, and go in a blackout hay maze.
We all had a good time - it was much needed family fun!

Finally she's 5!

Today my "Spunky Monkey" or "Little One" turned 5!
This is one silly little girl.
Em thanks for always having a funny face.

These pictures really show her personality.
We love you Emmie - hope your Birthday was great.

I love this pic!

I just love pictures like this one.
They show that my kids love each other.
Jarem has been sick the past couple of days.
He fell asleep on Maddie's shoulder while he
was watching her play games on her kindle.

Quick Little Update

The last little bit has been busy.
The kids are back in school with all their activities.
My sister Jess had her baby at 32 weeks -
so we've been helping with her kiddos.
Yesterday the girls did Fabulous on their parts
 in the Primary Program!
