MY GIRLS FAVORITE TV SHOW IS "AMERICA'S FUNNIEST VIDEOS". ON FRIDAY NIGHTS AT SEVEN THEY CALL FOR DAD AND GET READY. I DON'T KNOW WHY THIS IS THEIR FAVORITE BUT, THEY LOVE IT! IT'S A DADDY DAUGHTER BONDING TIME,THAT'S FUN AND SILLY.

EMMIE'S BLANKIE

Well her blanket is here and only three more months until she'll be here too. My sister Heidi makes beautiful baby blankets and this is Emmies. It's so soft and i can't wait to use it. Thanks Heidi for the awesome blanket!

4TH OF JULY

WOW! What a busy, crazy day it was. We started the day at 10:00am by heading to the Manti Park. We go there every year for games and activities during the day. It started with a little fashion show for kids dressed in patriotic clothing, then Maddie's clogging class performed, next they enjoyed finding money in the hay and then there was a candy scramble. Maddie and Shem also had a great time doing the three legged race. We had lunch at the park, took the kids on horse rides and Shem (being an awesome dad) stood in line for a half hour to get the kids snow cones. After the events were over we went home for quick naps and to get ready for family pictures. Its been a long time since there was a family picture taken on Shem's side of the family. We took tons of pictures and the kids did great considering it was four in the afternoon and 100 degrees outside. Now on to dinner for everybody at our house. After dinner it was back to Manti for the city fireworks and a huge finale! At the end of the fireworks the DJ made a special announcement for Britton (Shem's brother) to come to the stage for a special song. He sang "I Love You Baby" to his girlfriend in front of the whole city,which ended in a marriage purposal. The day was amazing and we all survived!

HOT SUMMER DAY!

What do you do on a hot summer day in a small farm town? You play in the gutter. These guys played in the water all evening. It started with just the feet in the water and soon became whole bodies laying down in the water. The local pool was closed for the day and they needed some way to cool off while dad mowed the lawn. What fun times! Not to worry I gave them a bath when they were done playing.

FATHERS DAY PICTURE

My girls really love their dad and they miss spending time with him. So this year for part of Shem's gift on Fathers Day, we surprised him with a picture of the girls. I wanted to share it because it's so cute. At least in the picture they love each other.

TRIP TO MOAB

SO THIS IS MY FIRST POST AND I KNOW THESE PICTURES ARE KIND OF OLD BUT I STILL WANTED TO SHARE THEM. WE TOOK A FAMILY TRIP DOWN TO MOAB IN MAY, WHEN SHEM HAD A BREAK FROM SCHOOL. THE WEATHER WAS PERFECT AND THE CAMPING WAS GREAT. THE GIRLS LOVED THE POOL AND THE PARK AT OUR CAMP SITE. MADDIE'S FAVORITE PART WAS HOLDING THE CATERPILLARS.

WE ALSO DECIDED TO GO TO ARCHES WHILE WE WERE THERE. CRAZY I KNOW WITH TWO SMALL KIDS AND A PREGNANT MOM. MADDIE WALKED AND WE PUT ABBIE IN A BACKPACK. IT ENDED UP BEING JUST FINE. HERES SOME PICTURES OF OUR DAY AT ARCHES.
