PreSchool Busy Box

We do Preschool at home with our kids.
I was on Pinterest looking for more ideas and
came across tons of Preschool Busy Box ideas.
Here's a couple that I've done so far.
I have a list of about 25 things that will go in the box.
Emmie is loving the special box.
Some of the things are a bit easy for her but practice is good.

The button snake - still fun even if you already know how to button.

Pushing Pipe Cleaners - working on matching colors.

Projects and more Projects!

Now that we are settled in our house, it's time for Projects!
I'm going room by room and little by little.
Pinterest has been very helpful.
I've seen these apple ball trees at hobby lobby but -
they are kind of pricey (for me anyway).
So I decided to try making my own.
 I started with this
And ended with that tree in the middle.
It was pretty easy and only cost me about 5 bucks.
There are tons more Projects to finish - so stay tuned.

Look who's Writing her name.

Emmie saw me writing on boxes. She decided to give it a try.
She's getting pretty good at writing her name.

It says Emmie Smith - or Simt if you're 3.

Twins Christmas Visit

Jess and Nate had their twins just before Christmas.
We got to visit them on Christmas Day.
The kids were able to see the babies through the window.

They are so tiny but doing so good.

Puppets

All the kids got Puppets in their stockings.
They were so easy to make.

CHRISTMAS MORNING!

We moved just in time to have Christmas morning at our new house.
The girls loved opening their Presents
Jarem had a great time crawling for wrapping paper
and taking things off the tree.

Christmas Eve

Christmas eve was full of fun.
We celebrated Shem's Birthday.
Next it was onto the Nativity Scene.
The best part of Christmas is acting out the story
of the BIRTH OF OUR SAVIOR!

We love teaching our children the true meaning of CHRISTMAS.
