AMAZING HUSBAND

WHILE SHEM HAD A BREAK FROM SCHOOL HE DECIDED TO DO SOME HOME REPAIR PROJECTS. ACTUALLY I TOLD HIM WHAT I WANTED DONE AND HE DID IT (BECAUSE HE'S A GREAT HUSBAND). THE TUB IN OUR MAIN BATHROOM NEEDED A NEW WRAP AROUND IT. THE OLD ONE WAS SO NASTY AND SOMETHING HAD TO BE DONE. SO SHEM WENT TO WORK, GOT TILE FROM HIS BOSS, AND NOW IT LOOKS GREAT. OUR FRONT STEPS ALSO NEEDED WORK. THE SUPPORT LEGS WERE ROTTEN AND THEY WERE UNEVEN. I GUESS THIRTY YEARS OF FOUNDATION SETTLING WILL DO THAT. ON THIS PROJECT SHEM PUT IN NEW SUPPORTS, GOT THE TRACTOR AND LIFTED THE STAIRS UP UNTIL THEY WERE LEVEL, AND POURED CONCRETE AROUND THE BASE. THE STAIRS STILL AREN'T THE BEST LOOKING, BUT THEY ARE EVEN AND SAFE. THANKS TO AN AMAZING HUSBAND THAT WILL DO WHAT IT TAKES TO KEEP HIS WIFE HAPPY.

LOGAN

We just spent four days in Logan with my family. Shem had a break from school, so we decided to go. Each day we did something different with the kids. The first day we went to Bear Lake, which was great fun. The second day I took the girls to my sister's school for haircuts. We all got new dos, but it was Abbie's First Haircut. On Saturday we went to Willow Zoo and all the kids wanted to do was look at the turtle and feed the ducks. Then on Sunday we stopped to see Shem's Grandma on our way home. She is such a sweet old lady, and it made her day to see little kids. Our trip was wonderful, but now it's back to regular life and laundry.

WARD CAMPOUT

Our Ward ROCKS!! We have activities all the time and they are so much fun. This month it was the ward campout. Yes more camping adventures being pregnant. We went up Ephraim Canyon for the night. Maddie made sure that we knew the way by following the map down to every detail. Let me just say she was sooo excited. Abbie slept on the drive up there, which was great because I knew it would be a late night. We really enjoyed ourselves. Shem got plenty to eat. They served dutch oven dinner and a mountain man breakfast. We also played horseshoes, had a fireside, and went star gazing. The kids did awesome - they are such little troopers.
Our family loves to go camping.
